Dual Transistor Fuzz
Dual Transistor Fuzz is our most versatile pedal yet, effortlessly riding the line between boost, overdrive and fuzz. Two selector switches allow to choose whether you’d like the effect pedal to function as a treble booster or full range preamp, as well as controlling the amount of clipping diode distortion and compression. Dual Transistor Fuzz boasts excellent cleanup and is incredibly sensitive to pedals placed before it, allowing musicians to move between glassy, germanium preamp and 90s inspired fuzz tones with ease.
What is TRB/NRM or RANGE (Standard Series)?
This switch functions as an input cap selector. It controls the amount of bass at the input of the circuit. TRB utilizes the same stock value as the Dallas Rangemaster, perfect for hitting dark, distorted amplifiers while NRM is, relatively, full range removing only the lowest of bass frequencies.
What is CST/OPN/NRM or VOICE (Standard Series)?
This switch functions as a clipping diode selector, controlling the amount of distortion and compression in the circuit. CST/DOWN are custom, typically NOS germanium diodes that are hand-matched in our workshop; this mode provides the most compression and fuzz, along with a slight volume drop. OPN/UP removes clipping diodes from the circuit, allowing noticeably more high end and transients to come through. NRM is assymetrical germanium/silicon clipping, this mode splits the difference providing a slight bass roll off, and taming of the highest frequencies.
Standard Series: this series of pedal is constructed on PCB with only select mojo components hardwired. All Eastern EU/Russian transistors and diodes are still hand-tested and soldered by John (me!)
Hardwired Series: this series of pedals is constructed on hand-cut strip board. These pedals are incredibly labor intensive to build, they use the highest quality components and are beautiful inside and out and built to last a lifetime.
Voltic Electronic Devices are handcrafted, with love, in Wilmington, DE.
If not in stock, pedals will ship approximately 2 weeks from order date
Uses any standard BOSS-style, center negative 9v power supply
Lifetime Voltic Warranty
